Keywords Research Can Help You Find New Markets

Keywords research and analysis is foundational to any SEO effort, but did you know that keywords research can help you to identify new markets.

We just developed an SEO strategy for a client who’s business is construction related.  His firm has a primary area of expertise, but they also have the resources to do other construction related projects.

My firm began by doing extensive keywords research and analysis, with an emphasis on reaching a large number of searchers while minimizing the number of competitors.  Relevancy was also important.

We uncovered a high visibility niche with very few competitors and presented our findings to the client.  Actually I sent him an e-mail at about 9:30 PM and he responded at around 10:00 PM saying lets go for it.  We were both excited.

Now its time to optimize a page around this keyword phrase and implement.

Maybe there’s an opportunity for your business as well.  If you’re thinking about optimizing or re-optimizing your website, consider using keywords research as a means of finding new markets.
